Black John Licorice is an undead pirate made out of black licorice. According to the legend of his life, Black John Licorice and his crew found an island full off red licorice and decided to cut them down so they can have it to themselves. But, the licorice suddenly turned black and John and his crew were cursed when they were transformed into licorice skeletons that are only alive at night. One night, they went to a gyspy and she told them to go back to the island and plant the licorice seed.
